Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough inspections of composite parts, materials, and components to ensure they meet established quality standards, specifications, and tolerances.
- Utilize various precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other relevant tools, to accurately measure dimensions and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Read and interpret complex manufactured part drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to understand requirements and identify any discrepancies or deviations.
- Conduct visual inspections to identify defects, flaws, and irregularities in composite products, and make determinations on their acceptability based on established criteria.
- Collaborate closely with production teams to communicate quality issues, provide feedback on non-conforming products, and assist in process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain detailed and accurate inspection records, including measurements, observations, and outcomes, using electronic databases or manual documentation as required.
