- Ensure the quality management system is performing effectively by monitoring and providing performance reports against established standards.

Collaborate with other managers and team members across the organization to ensure the quality management system is functioning correctly, provide guidance on implementing changes, and offer training to help others achieve quality standards.

Supervise the daily operations of the Quality Team to support customer and operational needs.

Provide quality expertise and support for New Product Development activities.

Work with customers' quality and engineering personnel to evaluate critical part features and manufacturability of designs, and suggest modifications to customer part specifications and tolerances to support cost-effective production.

Take charge of design reviews, form, fit and function analysis, and complete necessary customer or internal documentation.

Organize measurements, layouts, and testing as required.

Support the team approach to customer management, including sales, quality, operations, and engineering.

Ensure efficient production and manufacturing line performance by providing clear information on product quality, quality systems requirements, and operational methods.

Handle customer complaints, document corrective actions, and lead teams in root cause analysis and implementing solutions.

Review and dispose of warranty claims in partnership with Sales, Customer Service, and Continuous Improvement Specialists.

Promote the use of statistical and analytical tools for evaluating and enhancing product quality.

Maintain an effective quality system that meets compliance certificates or regulations' requirements.

Conduct trend analysis of quality metrics such as customer complaints, rework, and scrap to identify continuous improvement opportunities.

Advocate for and suggest improvements to the overall quality management system.

Adopt a data-driven, structured problem-solving approach to continuous improvement.

Act as a change agent, challenge the organization, and help remove organizational barriers.

Lead cross-functional continuous improvement projects that analyze customer/operational data to enhance efficiencies.

Accountable for the functionally related Operating Metrics.
