We seek a highly motivated Research Scientist to support the discovery of novel therapeutics for immuno-oncology.

responsibilities:

• Design and optimization of various nucleic acid-based therapeutics for early discovery
• Molecular biology techniques including: PCR, cloning, DNA/RNA isolation, etc. to support our immuno-oncology therapeutic programs.
• Additional responsibilities will require proficiency in various in vitro and ex vivo laboratory techniques, including experience with a diverse set of cellular biology techniques such as primary cell isolation, T cell activation, and immunophenotyping.

 
qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (BS) in Biology, or a related degree, with four (4) or more years or relevant industry experience in immuno-oncology or immunology OR
• Master's degree (MS) with two (2) or more years of experience
• Research-based industry experience is a must.
• Strong background in molecular biology and related techniques is essential, including vector design, cloning, RNA/DNA purification, in vitro transcription, etc.
• Must be self-motivated, have excellent organizational skills, and be capable of working collaboratively, and with minimal guidance, in a fast-paced and highly matrixed environment.
• Proficiency in various cellular techniques, including cell isolation, cell culture, T cell activation and proliferation, ELISA, and multi-parameter flow cytometry and analysis, etc.
