Solar Panel Manufacturing - Day

Get certified in LEAN manufacturing while you work! 

Randstad is now preparing for peak season with a solar panel manufacturer in the South Sacramento area. Start dates are expected in the next 3-4 weeks.

The position offers the opportunity to learn a new trade and grow with unique training opportunities like LEAN certifications. This is a Temp to Hire position, that offers long-term employment to anyone with a willingness to learn and cross-train across different departments.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience in a warehouse environment
• Must be able to read and write English effectively
• Tool experience is a major plus!
• Ability to accurately follow directions
• Manufacturing warehouse experience
• Show ability to use hand tools as well as power tools
• Ability to work on your feet 7-8 hours a day
• Comfortable using tools and hands in repetitive motion

salary: $16 - $17 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 5 AM - 1:45 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position are spread across multiple departments: depending on proficiency and experience, you could be working and cross-training in multiple positions. You will be expected to prepare materials for assembly by hand and with the assistance of tools; assemble raw materials according to specification and assembly instruction, or properly package materials for shipping to construction sites or installation in the plant.





The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 10 hours at one time

working up to 20 hrs of overtime per week

working weekends
