We are seeking a Technical Director to oversee development and QA, architect the structure of our websites, and provide hands-on development with Drupal/PHP and Frontend (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to join our team!
The Technical Director is dynamic individual responsible for providing architectural direction and technical oversight to client projects. The Technical Director will implement and maintain front-end and back-end development on client websites, web services, and mobile applications utilizing content management systems using PHP, Drupal, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and other relevant programming languages. The Technical Director will have a small team of experienced developers and QA analysts reporting to them. Other responsibilities include other application architecture; server configuration; developing, maintaining and following coding standards and best practices; working directly with clients, collaborating with the creative and sales teams to design and estimate upcoming projects and proposals; staying informed of new web development trends and technologies in order to bring ideas and suggestions to current and future projects. Other duties as requested.

Technical Responsibilities
- 5 years of experience with HTML, CSS, and Javascript
- 4 years of experience with Drupal development and configuration (primarily Drupal 8/9/ )
- strong PHP skills
- Experience with Git, including an understanding of Git workflows
- Experience with evaluating and improving the performance of websites, primarily in addressing front-end issues
- Knowledge of package management like Gulp or Webpack
- Experience with CSS preprocessors like SASS/SCSS or LESS
- Experience with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation
- Experience with writing custom Drupal modules or utilizing hooks
- Experience with MySQL or MariaDB database
- Understanding of server configurations (LAMP, LEMP, etc.)
- Experience with cloud services like Pantheon or Acquia
- Basic Apache configuration and management
- Bash or other shell scripting languages
- Concurrent versioning systems like GitHub or BitBucket
- strong understanding of web standards, cross-browser and cross-platform development techniques
- Familiarity with developing for SEO and accessibility
- Excellent communication skills
