Bring your experience to this expanding manufacturer and make an impact immediately. We are looking for dependable assembly workers to join one of the fastest-growing and reputable companies in the Bainbridge, Ga area. Qualifications:

• Ability to use hands and arms to lift material and place it on table
• Ability to swing hammer accurately
• Ability to climb onto and off truss table frequently
• Ability to see and discern when truss pieces are not fitting together properly

*First 90 days you would start off as a stacker, lifting trusses and getting them stacked up or assisting the saw operator*

salary: $12.5 - $13 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 5:30 PM
education: High` School

Responsibilities

• As a truss worker, you also verify the size of each precut part and then move the specific wood pieces into position by hand
• Truss worker will place metal reinforcements over connections using various tools, such as a hammer, screwdriver, or staple gun
• Truss workers will also help band and stage finish trusses for transportation
• Hammers plates secure in advance of pressing operation
• Assists in pushing or pulling trusses from table
• Cleans up work area on a regular basis so as to avoid stepping on or tripping over scrap material
• Maintains good communications with Truss Company Lead and other Truss Workers so as to have a cohesive and productive work team
• Learns and applies appropriate safety regulations including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment
• All assembly positions start off as a stacker for 90 days which require's team lifting and organizing

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 10 hours at one time
• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
• working weekends
