Staff Accountant

Randstad is seeking Staff Accountants with a few years of experience looking to grow within an expanding organization based in Richmond. Responsibilities


 Reconciliation of sales and use tax general ledger accounts.
 Assist with other month-end journal entries and reconciliations as assigned.
 Originate and maintain state business related licenses and registrations for all jurisdictions.
 Maintain business licenses for local jurisdictions.
 Work closely with districts when new business requires initial documents.
 Maintain Contractor Licenses for districts as required.
 Assist with the reconciliation and calculation of personal property taxes.
 Maintain, reconcile, and calculate sales & use tax returns for all districts.
 Work with staff to educate them on properly calculating and recording tax.
 Perform internal audits to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
