Tax Accountant (Level III)

salary: $28.33 - $28.34 per hour

Responsibilities

Position Description:

• Prepare Individual Federal and State From 1040 Tax returns using GOSystem Tax RS
• Organize the data quickly and efficiently, then import into our tax software (SurePrep)
• Working directly with our internal staff in a professional, dynamic environment
• Work hours are regular 40 hours per week (9-5) with a slight potential for overtime.
• Time schedule may be somewhat flexible with approval of manager
• Possible preparation of Form 709 Gift Tax returns
• strong working knowledge of tax return preparation and processing in a high volume environment

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 3-5 years current experience preferably with a CPA firm during tax season.
• Current PTIN Certification required (validate)
• Extensive and recent experience in the preparation of complex personal income tax returns (Form 1040).
• Experience with high net worth clientele preferred.
• Degree in Accounting strongly preferred
• Proficiency with GOSystem Tax RS highly desired
