Business Analyst

Shift/Hours: 1st shift Monday-Friday

Job Description:

• Is the technology and process expert in the assigned functional domain.
• Will be responsible to lead business stakeholders in enabling new capabilities via innovation and technology in the given process area.
• This role is an analytical and process oriented analyst who facilitates the business capabilities visioning and elicits business requirements with stakeholders and then employing business process modeling techniques, creates an integrated solution approach to create business value.
• This role has a thorough understanding of business process as well as technology architecture framework and plays a supporting role in projects to ensure that the solution architecture and process reengineering is enabling the requisite business capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Comprehends the business capabilities required in specific functional domain and facilitates the discussions with stakeholders to meet the business strategy with technology capabilities
• Utilizes leading business process modeling techniques to facilitate requirements, process analysis and user experiences including process reengineering to deliver business value.
• Creates Use cases, develop functional specifications, data flow diagram and basic system modeling / prototyping using standard tools
• Develop User stories/requirements and test cases as part of requirement development for a test-driven development approach.
• Is the Subject Matter expert in the assigned functional domain
• Determines the integration with other processes and systems and defines the interfaces and ensures consistency with established data/information standards
• Accountable for the quality of solution for the delivered product by project team, including testing, and ensures business sign off
• Facilitating, educating and supporting the super user network for the center of excellence for the specific applications within the defined process area
• Assists in estimating projects for the overall IT organization, given the data and systems available and business application and reporting needs of end users.
• Participates in execution of various portions of project plans including testing and training tasks.
• Participates in software source selection process including make-buy analysis, RFP generation, evaluation criteria development and analysis.
• Recommended Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Information Systems Management or related field, and/or relevant work experience.
• 5 or more years’ experience in Information Systems and/or analytical business systems position required.
• Proven experience working in a team environment to implement business application solutions required.
• Experience and familiarity with Agile methodology such as scrum and agile tools such as Rally
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work and communicate well with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work well on a team and with colleagues and perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the corporation’s high quality standards.
• Consumer Packaged Goods or Beverage alcohol industry experience preferred.

Top 3 Must Have Skills:

• Business ERP other business planning application
• Experience with configuration/business process.
• Able to write user stories
• Ideally background in the beverage/alcohol industry pricing revenue management history

Years Experience:

• 3-5 year experience with functional application analyst.

Pay: $90.00 per hour
