The ideal candidate would possess the following skills and qualities:
- Experience working with customers at tier 3 support level (or equivalent)
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting virtual machines running Windows operating systems
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting multiple Windows operating systems, including Windows, 11, 10, 7 and XP
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting virtual networking with VMware Player
- Experience with Microsoft management tools (Active Directory, Intune, etc.) within the Azure environment
- Knowledge and awareness of IT security principles and practices, and a mindset to emphasize security throughout all job activities
- Knowledge and/or experience with the operational technology (OT) environment a plus, including the equipment, applications and security
- Possess strong written and verbal communication, and experience dealing directly with struggling customers
- Possess a valid US driver's license and the ability to travel 50-75%
The candidate will perform the following job responsibilities:
- Build OT Privileged Access Workstation (PAW) devices for deployment, including provisioning the host operating system, loading and configuring virtual machines on the host system, creating user credentials, and implementing other system and software configurations
- Conduct onsite workshops to train users on their OT PAW devices
- Support users to resolve issues with the OT PAW devices, both in person and via online interactions
