We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a talented individual who can contribute to our success and help us maintain our high standards.
As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall operations of our company. Working closely with the store manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the store, maintaining excellent customer service, and driving profitability. Your exceptional leadership skills, attention to detail, and strong business acumen will be vital in achieving our goals.
As an Assistant Manager, your responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with the General Manager to implement and enforce company policies and procedures
- Optimize profits by closely monitoring and controlling costs
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of employees
- Resolve customer issues promptly and ensure their overall satisfaction
- Maintain a management style that adheres to company best practices and promotes a positive work environment
- Provide effective leadership and direction to all employees, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability
- Assist the General Manager in leading and motivating staff to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service
- Create employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and efficient operations
- Enforce health, safety, and security rules to create a safe environment for everyone
- Take appropriate disciplinary action when necessary, in line with company guidelines
- Maintain a consistent standard of customer service, going above and beyond to exceed customer expectations
- Motivate employees and foster a sense of pride and commitment to the company's mission
- Ensure merchandise is displayed attractively and in accordance with visual standards
- Keep the park clean, organized, and properly stocked at all times
- Complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently, demonstrating a high level of attention to detail
- Provide support to the General Manager as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in management role or similar position (2 years of amusement/family entertainment management experience preferred)
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proven track record in driving sales and achieving targets
- Solid understanding of financial principles and cost control
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Proficient in using technology and point-of-sale systems
- Flexible schedule, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
