Position overview -
Supporting our customer in Washington, DC the selected candidate will work as the Metrics Analyst to access CDW database to extract variables and to conduct statistical analyses for VHIE program operation improvement opportunities. Assist in improving/maintaining existing VHIE program reporting operations/process. Produce products (variables of interest) in raw data format to facilitate further analyses, or to Tabulate/graph/visualize useful information for discussion or for decision making by the leadership. Participate and make contribution to VHIE analytics weekly team meeting. Utilize Excel, PowerPoint, and/or in SSRS (SQL server Reporting systems), Power BI, and Pyramid Analytics to produce output data. Work with OIT/BISL team for needed OLAP Cubes for team consumption. Should have Biostatistics trained with 3-5 years of hand-on statistical work experience with SSRS, Power BI, Pyramid Analytics or Tableau as well as hands-on SQL.

Working Conditions:
Business work hours are from Monday through Friday, (day shift) 40-hour week
Physical Requirements:
Employee needs to be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods; use hand(s) to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Most positions require ability to work on desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time reading, reviewing/analyzing information, and providing recommendations, summaries and/or reports in written format. Must be able to effectively communicate with others verbally and in writing. Employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
