Site Coordinator

Raw Resources Group, a premier EPC company based in southern WV, is seeking an experienced Site Coordinator for an industrial construction project near Apollo, PA. The successful candidate will report directly to the Project Manager and will assist the Construction Manager and Project Manager in the daily management of construction projects. Site Coordinators also act a main point of contact for office staff and management, allowing the Construction and Project Managers to concentrate on the overall progress and scope of the project. The Site Coordinator will undertake a wide range of project functions and responsibilities, enabling them to learn construction and management principles in an active and multi-faced role.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Assist HR with onboarding of new hire personnel and performing on-site HR responsibilities including new hire paperwork, maintaining OSHA and MSHA training records, answering basic HR questions, etc.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Submit daily progress reports with data regarding man-hours, equipment installation, units completed, deliveries, and submit daily progress photos.
  • Compile, log, and submit timesheets for all Raw employees, tracking labor hours for all civil, electrical, and mechanical employees.
  • Coordinate plans, materials, and correspondence between client, subcontractors, and Raw.
  • Assist Construction Manager in enforcement of all applicable MSHA, OSHA, and Raw safety policies.
  • Provide active support to Construction and Project Manager in the daily management of construction project.
  • Synchronize deliveries with Construction Manager and maintain an accurate delivery log.
  • Track all job extras including labor, materials, and equipment used that are passable to client, fabricators, or equipment vendors and outside original scope of work.
  • Tracking and distributing all construction drawings, ensuring that up to date drawings are being utilized.
  • Main point of contact for suppliers, providing them with directions to project location, receiving hours, and other pertinent information to delivery of materials.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Travel is Required.
  • Be prepared to work a minimum of 50 hours per week.
  • Willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.
  • Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production operations and machinery.
  • Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word or related software to complete reports and logs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
  • The ability to effectively communicate verbally or through email.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the construction site in all types of weather.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
  • Prolonged sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Prolonged periods of standing.

Salary : $50,900 - $64,400
