Raytheon Intelligence and Space (RIS) is looking for an experienced professional in support of Supply Chain and Material Program Management (MPM) functions within Raytheon Missile & Defense (RMD) programs.
The successful candidate will be accountable for the program’s obsolescence and assigned production material. This role will actively engage with Engineering, Operations, Production Control, Quality and Procurement teams to ensure alignment to goals and performance expectations. Duties include supporting the respective RMD customer with the management of assigned manufacturing material, both make and buy parts as well as Obsolescence Material including support for component Lifetime Buys (LTB),
Excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary to be able to influence and communicate effectively across multiple functional areas, as well as with parties external to the organization. This individual should be a self-starter and someone and is able to work independently at a higher level.

Specific responsibilities include:

Support the Supplier Management Process (i.e., Line of Balance/PO Place Plans, Risks/Opportunities, supplier performance, material sales forecast, EAC, etc…).

Coordination of cross functional teams supporting obsolescence material requirements.

Monitor performance metrics and proactively act to address program and functional issues.

Work closely with Engineering, Quality and Operations to maximize the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) integrity in support of on time deliveries and mitigation of material constraints.

Help driving AOP financial commitments by mitigating risks to sales, cash flow and EACs.

Support Program review meetings, EAC reviews, assigned supplier meetings, etc…

Ensure timely and effective Integrated Product Development System (IPDS) compliance.

Assisting with the preparation of all material to ensure compliance with business processes (IPDS, EVMS, and PMX) and other specific functional processes.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
-
Minimum of 6 years of related experience.

Active DoD Secret Clearance or have the ability to obtain one within 12 months.

Strong analytical skills required to evaluate material planning and identify constraints, risks and opportunities.

Certified as Raytheon Program Management Level 6 (IPT Lead) or have the ability to obtain certification within 12 months.

Raytheon MPM Level 4 Certification or have the ability to obtain certification within 12 months.

Raytheon Earned Value (EV) Certified in accordance with RP-FIN-GBS-004.

Proficient with SAP (APEX/PRISM).

Proficient with Microsoft Office, with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Strong organizational skills in project management and task prioritization.

Experience interfacing with internal and external customers.

Exemplary oral and written communication skills; ability to listen well and communicate effectively with others.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Knowledge of supply chain functions and responsibilities to include basic understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) through experience in a manufacturing environment.

Procurement/subcontract management experience

Production Control & Planning Experience.

Experience in Financial and Cost Account Management, Material Sales Forecasts, Estimate at Complete (EAC), and Earned Value Management (EVM) Standards and Principles.

A knowledge base that can be leveraged to affect change and provide creative, lasting systemic solutions to ensure MRP & MPP integrity.

Understanding of US Government acquisition laws and regulations (FAR).

Advanced Microsoft Excel skillset (i.e. Pivot tables, advanced formulas, external data sources, automation, etc.).

Proficient with Microsoft Project.

Advanced Supply Chain Planning tools (i.e. – Kinaxis RapidResponse).

Raytheon Six Sigma Specialist/ CORE Associate, or equivalent.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with a major in Business, Finance, Management, Supply Chain, Science, or in a related field.
Work Location:
Can be hybrid or remote, but reporting to Tucson, AZ or Andover, MA or Huntsville, AL
