HybridThe RSS Airborne Multimode Radar (AMR) Business Area within SNS is looking for an associate director to lead a team of 13 with annual Sales of $300M . The role is Hybrid in McKinney, Tx and anticipated to be in the office 2-3 days per week. It is an integral part of the leadership team in helping to maximize execution, build strategy, and ensure the team is meeting financial and customer commitments. Excellent communication skills are required for interactions with cross-functional leadership and members of the ISRS finance team. This role is essential for establishing transparent finance processes and decision making to assist leadership in the growth of this business.
Responsibilities include:
Leadership, Motivation and Development of AMR finance team
Review and approval of program Estimate-at-Completion (EAC)
Program Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) reporting
Actively identifying risks and opportunities and driving proactive mitigation and capture
Assisting the capture leads with new business initiatives, proposal activity, gate packages & negotiations
Development of Financial Forecast, Annual Operating Plan, and 5-yr Strategic Plan
Contract Funds Request (CFRs), and Appropriation Requests (ARs)
Balance sheet analysis and implementing cash optimization strategies.
Required Skills:
Typically requires 12 years of related experience
Ideal professional experience will be related to financial analysis in a highly matrixed organization.
Experience in a defense or aerospace industry.
Direct Supervisory experience guiding teams
P&L ownership or Financial Planning Experience
U.S. Citizenship Status is Required as this position will require the ability to Access US Only Data Systems
Desired Skills:
A demonstrated leader through Gate requirements
Experience with interpreting and providing guidance on FAR/DFAR
Experience with competitive proposals
Ability to apply, interpret, and provide financial guidance on Raytheon Policies and Procedures
Masters' Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field
Excellent professional communication skills (Verbal and Written)
Ability to multi-task and be able to support a dynamic team environment
Knowledge of the DoD Acquisition Process
EVM Certified
Requires deep management and leadership knowledge to lead cross-department project teams or manage across multiple related departments.
Education:
Typically requires Bachelor’s degree
