RAYUS Radiology, formerly Center for Diagnostic Imaging, is looking for a Senior Image Management Specialist to join our team.Responsible for the day-to-day operation and support of image management and clinical reading functions for the enterprise and provide support for Image Management Specialists and Image Management applications. This position is full time,Monday - Friday, with on call rotation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(55%) Imaging Services Project Management
- Manages projects cross-departmentally on definition and implementation of applications and processes
- Manages projects related to the development of operating standards, policies, and procedures for the image management process
- Evaluates new products and changes in imaging technology and presents recommendations to the Manager of Imaging Services
- Works with Manager of Imaging Services to oversee Imaging Services projects managed by Image Management Specialists
(20%) Image Management
- Provides 3rd level support, and, when necessary, 2nd level support of image services
- Acts as an escalation point for 2nd level Imaging Services support, taking lead on escalated Imaging Services applications issues, seeing problems through to resolution
- Establishes and tests new image routes and the operations to support new centers, outside reads and other routing requirements
- Mentors and provides knowledge and direction to Image Management Specialists
- Works closely with market personnel to ensure they are properly trained and knowledgeable in image routing, archival and clinical reading functions to the extent they are 2nd line of defense, supporting 1st level Imaging Services support
- Supports New Center and Business Development Implementation and initiatives
(20%) Market Support
- Serves as an interface between information technology, engineering, and radiologic technologists and Radiologists to ensure smooth functioning of the overall PACS system
- Leads application training for technologists and Radiologists in dictation and PACS systems
- Assists referring offices and patients with medical and patient provider portal viewer
(5%) Completes other tasks and projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in an IT or healthcare related field or equivalent experience
- 5 years of related experience in radiology operations and/or health care project management
- Advanced experience with PACS and teleradiology processes and equipment
- CIIP Certified
- Valid driver's license and proof of current insurance
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree
- Project management leadership experience with small to medium-scale Imaging Operations projects, leading cross departmentally
- Radiologic Technologist certification
