While working and learning alongside our experienced technical professionals, Summer Analysts are given responsibility over a key project delivery advancing our Capital Markets technology strategy. RBC Capital Markets Technology department promotes and innovative and collaborative work environment for Summer Analysts. Analysts will work in a project team setting with the guidance and support from RBC Capital Markets' lead support technicians and technologists to support , troubleshoot and when needed implement in-demand tools and services. Summer Analysts will also have dedicated sessions with Sr. managers to develop their understanding of Technology's role in supporting internal RBC clients, and providing exposure to the technologies and services used in the firm.

You will be immersed in problem-solving challenges that requiring analyzing assigned incidents through the ServiceNow platform from multiple facets, spotting trends in incidents and interacting with various groups to find root cause, suggest, develop and implement fixes that affect hundreds or thousands of users globally. Working on Problem management, as well as tasks through your ServiceNow dashboard.

• Solid on-the-job training
• Exposure to various areas within Technology and Operations

Some of the areas that participate in the program:

• Application Support, Deployment and configuration
• Knowledge of ITIL Service Delivery and Service Management
• Root cause analysis and resolution. Proper escalation to appropriate app owners.
• Windows imaging, Software Deployment and Patching
• Working with internal consumer clients on technical needs and solution design
• Market Data application support and deployment
• Mapping Technical solutions to Business Problem aligning with business strategy.
