Shipping and Receiving duties: operate forklift, pick, pack, palletize, and stretch wrap all customer orders due to ship each day. Load and unload trucks. Create all shipping documents for customer orders; Arrange and schedule freight trucks to pick up customer orders; Invoice customer order. Material handing as needed for manufacturing. Weigh (verity count) all product shipping to heat treat vendors and create shipping documents for product. Weigh (verify count) all product returning from heat treat vendors; Open and maintain, and receive product on purchase orders for all heat treat items. Open and maintain work orders. Support other departments by delivering needed supplies and parts. Count and return unused parts back to stock. Data entry for production, supply assembly department with customer box labels. Receive & check in product from vendors. Verify against pack lists. Cycle count inventory twice a week. Provide backup support running reports for Material Manager maintain a high level of inventory accuracy. Maintain a clean area at all times.
Physical Job Description:
1. Stepping up & down onto forklift continually throughout a 10-hour day.
2. Lifting & moving boxes that are up to approximately 53 lbs.
3. Breaking down cup (seals) shipments. Boxes can be difficult to lift because they are large in size and can be heavy.
4. Bending and stooping to wrap and band pallets for shipping throughout a 10-hours day.
5. Lifting and moving roller cans on pallets. approximate weight fir each can is up to 58 lbs.
