Come on board as our client’s Revenue Accountant, where you will generate and send timely, accurate invoices by utilizing pertinent billing data and information systems. You will review oil movement work orders and tickets for accuracy and adjust as required. You’ll interact with shippers regarding past due balances and generate and send inventory reports to customers. You will also prepare weekly and monthly throughput information to EIA and the State of Louisiana (R2 Report). Expect to assist the Revenue Supervisor as well, analyzing and reporting revenue financial data and maintaining systems for record retention. Additionally, you will compile data as deemed necessary for audits and ad hoc requests. There will be an opportunity for cross training where you can learn other industries!
About You
· Bachelors in accounting, master’s or CPA preferred
· 2 years’ prior experience in accounting, preferably in the oil and gas related field
· Good communication skills, written and verbal
· Excellent team player and collaborator
· Customer-centric personality
· Skilled in the use of computers, all Microsoft office products (advanced Excel skills), adapts to new technology (LN INFOR), keeps abreast of changes, learns new programs quickly, uses computer skills to improve productivity
