What are the responsibilities and job description for the Media Blast position at RCL Components?
Responsibilities:
Media blast parts and subassemblies in a thorough and expedient manner. Load media and parts into the blast booth in proper sequence to support the production schedule. Follow instructions from Production Manager. Maintain clean and organized work area.
Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on the media blast system. Adjust air pressure and Thompson valve for optimal paint and rust removal. Maintain airlines and blast hose and nozzle. Properly use and maintain personal safety equipment, PPE.
General Job Requirement:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic Math and English skills
- Personal transportation to and from work
- Ability to lift minimum 50lbs from floor to over head level
- Able to stand and bend to perform necessary tasks for extended period of time.
