Job Title: School Paraprofessional

Location: New York (Manhattan, Queens, Bronx, Brooklyn, Staten Island)

Pay Rate: $18-19/hour based on experience

RCM Healthcare is seeking dedicated Paraprofessionals to support students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in the New York. Responsibilities:

• Implement students' IEPs and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Collaborate with teachers and educational/behavioral teams to implement classroom/school routines effectively.
• Accurately collect and report data on student progress and behavior.
• Utilize CPI de-escalation strategies and physical management techniques when necessary for safety.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Willing to do training and pass the Paraprofessional assessment
• Ready to complete the onboarding documents and requirements of NY Department of Education
• Amenable to complete and pass fingerprinting and background check
• Physical Requirements: This role involves active engagement with students in various settings. It may require physical intervention in situations where students test physical boundaries.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
