Summary of Position:
The Administrative Assistant provides support for employees and clients within the company to help them be successful in their day to day lives. The Administrative Assistant will assist DPHHS-CFSD in developing, organizing, and conducting programs to prevent and resolve matters relevant to substance abuse, mental health, relationships, rehabilitation, and dependent care. Programs including, but not limited to, Visitation Coaching, Family Based Services, and Transportation. The Administrative Assistant will help to keep the functions of the office up to par so that daily operations are able to run smoothly.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing exceptional client services. This includes client needs, assessments, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer services.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in budgeting, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, coordination of staff and resources.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing family services. This includes family needs for treatment plans, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of family outcomes.
- Knowledge of accelerated computer skills focused on the G Suite platform.
- Actively looking for ways to help staff and/or clients access resources formal and informal.
- Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Ability to effectively and efficiently communicate and receive information and ideas both written and verbal.
- Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
- Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work duties.
- Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
Any other responsibilities deemed essential by the Operations Manager or other members of Management.
Monday through Friday 9AM to 3PM, with an hour break for lunch.
25 hours a week
