POSITION: Work Center Floater
LOCATION: Work Center
FTE: Full Time, 30 hours a week
HOURS: Mon - Fri 6a -12p
WAGE: $18.11/hour plus benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement Plan, Employee Assistance Program, Paid Vacation time, Paid Sick/Personal time, and 6 Paid Holidays per year.
SUPERVISOR: Dee Metrick, Executive Director
CLOSING DATE: Open until filled
Job Summary: The Floater is responsible for the health and safety and providing supervision of the clients in the home and in the work center. Staff is responsible for assisting clients with their personal care, daily living needs, medications, meals, recreational and community activities. When needed, the Weekday Floater works shifts in all areas of Residential Service. Other duties may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be of legal age to perform the functions of the job (18 to work/ 21 to drive). Experience working with people with disabilities or a desire to work in the field. High School Diploma preferred. The individual must pass a background check, have a valid driver's license and be insurable under Reach Inc.'s auto insurance, maintain a good driving record, and have a reliable means of transportation. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
