Paralegals are a critical part of DLA Piper’s client service teams, working side by side with lawyers, co-counsel and clients on an array of substantive client matters. The majority of our paralegals are career professionals. They work independently and on teams, locally, nationally, and globally.

What will your day look like?
You will assist in drafting real estate documents, preparing closing documents, conducting due diligence reviews, and coordinating closings as required for commercial real estate transactions. This will include ordering, reviewing, and analyzing title commitments, recorded documents, and surveys. You will develop, monitor, and update closing and other checklists for real estate transactions.
You will also assist with drafting documents for commercial, resort, and mixed-use developments, as well as draft lease amendments for attorney review. This will require forming LLCs, partnerships, drafting organizational documents, and authority certificates and resolutions. All reporting and research will be delivered to the appropriate parties, counsel, lenders, governmental agencies, vendors, etc.
