Job Description :
Real Life Dental is looking for a Dental Assistant for our Blacksburg office. We offer a 4-day work week, monthly bonus opportunities and annual uniform allowance, on top of great health / dental benefits, paid time off and vacation pay.

Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assisting program preferred.
Dental Assistant certification in accordance with state regulations (if required).
X-ray certification (if required by state).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Knowledge of dental procedures and instruments.
Understanding of infection control protocols and OSHA regulations.
Compassion for patient comfort and care.
Responsibilities :
Clinical duties may include equipment preparation and sterilization, preparing patients for treatment, assisting the dentist during treatment, and providing patients with instructions for oral healthcare procedures.
May perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding information for insurance purposes.
