JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary:

• Perform membership data loads from various electronic media formats into the Facets system
• Develop and enhance specialized client mapping structures to support EDI load process
• Comprehend and create mapping for HIPAA transactions and companion guide especially for incoming 834 transactions.
• Develop and enhance queries and reports through different software including but not limited to EDW, SQL Developer and Microsoft Access.
• Analyze group load and data information to ensure data integrity, complying with department standards and policies
• Identify and drive timely resolution to data issues, coordinating and communicating with necessary parties (management team, IT, and client personnel).
• Identification of process and/or systems improvements
• Perform UAT testing as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for upholding data integrity standards through Data Integrator mapping process, as identified by department operational standards and company administration standards.
• Manage prioritization and execution of client data mapping process
• Creation and modification of Data Integrator maps to meet processing expectations for client data, utilizing knowledge of Visual Basic and SQL to develop client specific logic.
• Responsible for utilizing current and building new queries and reports to support the needs of the business using EDW, Sql Developer and Microsoft Access.
• Leverage knowledge of systems tools (Data Integrator, MS Access query/reporting and Facets) to enhance accuracy and enable accurate monitoring of EDI process.
• Responsible for performing test data loads to verify accuracy of client data layout/content and Data Integrator maps.
• Leverage systems tools to accurately process client data and validate load results in accordance with department standards for reporting.
• Maintain client load setup to support EDI data processing.
• Communicate with Service and Implementation teams regarding data layout or data integrity issues in a timely manner, escalating as necessary to EyeMed management team.
• Demonstrate a proven ability to be a self-starter, taking initiative to solve problems, improve on processes and manage priorities.
• Identify and recommend systems/process modifications necessary to effectively and efficiently support the membership load function.
• Establish strong rapport with membership associates, sharing system and process knowledge.

• Creation and execution of UAT test cases, presenting results and recommendations for action steps to management

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
