Position: NPI Test Engineer

Location: Santa Clara, CA, 5 days onsite
12 Month Contract

About the Role:
Our client, a large medical device manufacturer needs assistance with bringing their new product into manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
Process development
Supporting the manufacturing line - some aspects of manufacturing
Improving efficiencies to the line - fixture design, automating tests
Troubleshooting, pulling up docs from inspection and assess gap areas.
- Strong communicator - taking initiative, can communicate cross functionally and with high-level stakeholders
PFMEAs to be completed - work on risk assessment documents
TMVs - authoring and execution
- IQ/OQ/PQ
Desired Skills and Experience:
BS or MS in: Mechanical engineering, Mechatronics engineering, Electrical engineering
- Engineer with new product introduction experience - problem solving skills
- Experience with electro-mechanical mechanisms
- Medical Devices experience required
- Product lifecycle experience
- Core competencies: mechanical background
- Software experience: familiarity with software able to look under the hood and help diagnose issues
- Python experience and software lifecycle release process ideally
