Primary responsible for overseeing bank account administration, the candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of duties within the Corporate Treasury Department. The incumbent will draw upon strong financial, systems, controls and communication skills to successfully partner with other functional areas of the Company including Operations, Tax, Accounting, Legal and with third-party financial institutions. In addition, will lead, monitor and enhance the in-house compliance efforts related to system controls and procedures of the department.
Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee the Banking Coordinator and Treasury Analyst whose primary responsibility is Bank Account Administration. Provide oversight and guidance and ensure adherence to policies. Primary responsibility to ensure database integrity of over 800 bank accounts and all pertinent information.
Assist with bank account administration functions as needed on special projects and during times of increased volume.
Perform and manage the various continuous control efforts of the department related to bank account signers review, bank account database accuracy and online banking users.
Assist with annual Foreign Bank Account Reporting (FBAR) requirements.
Act as back-up to Senior Treasury Manager for daily cash operations. Be able to approve wires and review substantiation in the Treasury Management System (TMS) of Treasury. Supervise Senior Treasury Analyst while performing this function. Assist in the setting of the daily cash position.
Assist with system administration for the various banking platforms.
Assist with SOX 404 requirements.
Provide oversight and seek improvement in segregation of duties within the department, heavy focus on internal controls and online system controls. Provide guidance to business units on system controls and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Adhoc projects as required.
Technical Skills:
College graduate with 5-10 years post-undergraduate experience with degree in accounting or finance; CPA and or CTP preferred. Minimum of 4 years treasury experience. Public or Corporate accounting experience a plus.
Candidate should have an understanding of Treasury concepts, corporate finance, a familiarity with accounting requirements and possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong focus on controls, policies and procedures.
Prior experience with TMS, banking platforms (i.e. BOA CashPro, JPM Access, BNY TreasuryEdge) and banking database applications (i.e. BAWeb).
The candidate should have the ability to absorb technical concepts quickly, possess a strong work ethic, have excellent organization skills, be able to perform well independently or as part of a team and have a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
