Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. 

 

Ability to perform all essential duties and responsibilities of PW1 and (but are not limited to): 

Band Saw, Boxing – Hand, Flame Polish, Gasket Apply, Glue Apply, Heat Seal, Janitorial, Recycle Operator, Roller Die, Sander, Scan Gun, Shear, Snap/Grommet, Stencil, Tape Machine, Train the Trainer, Trim Carpet, Trim Tape , Wipe/stack/inspect, and Zed Operator

Other duties may be assigned.

 

Ability to perform all tasks associated with positions listed above.

Maintain professional attitude offering support to Leads, Supervisors and Manager.  Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to assist whenever and in whatever capacity needed.

Education and/or Experience:  A high school diploma or GED is required for this position.  However, job experience will be considered in lieu of this requirement.

 

Language Skills:  Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

 

Mathematical Skills:  Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.  Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

 

Reasoning Ability:  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

Computer Skills:  To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of BPCS, shop order generation, reporting and proper closing procedures. Employee must possess an understanding of accurate inventory substitution and reporting process.
