Payroll Manager - Dedham
Our client is looking for a Payroll Manager with ADP Work Force Now experience and a year or two of supervisory experience. Hybrid Role
Responsibilities
- Implement, maintain, and review payroll processing and timekeeping systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
- Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
- Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
- Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
- Identifies and recommends updates to payroll processing and timekeeping software, systems, and procedures.
- Working knowledge of enterprise wide HRIS, preferably Oracle HCM.
- Reconcile and audit W-2s at year-end.
- Remain current with all payroll related trends including government reporting and changes in federal, state and tax regulations.
- Compile and create management reports.
Education and Experience
- BA/BS, CPP designation preferred.
- Experience using ADP Workforce Now payroll application and UKG Kronos timekeeping application required.
- 5 – 7 years processing payroll in a multi-state environment, preferably with a publicly traded company.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local wage and tax laws, payroll taxes, overtime regulations and reporting requirements.
- Strong knowledge and use of Excel and VLOOKUPs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
