Job Title: Food Runner
Supervisor: General Manager & Service Manager
General Responsibilities:
Food Runners are expected to be an extension of the wait staff in providing Legendary Service to our guests. Ensuring each guest has a memorable dining experience when their food is presented exceeding their expectations. Proactively work in a fast-paced team and guest centered environment.
Specific Duties:
- Properly serving and delivering guests food and beverages
- Assist in clearing, cleaning and resetting tables for next guest
- Exhibit unsurpassed customer service and hospitality to each guest.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the dining room and the server stations
- Practice teamwork by assisting other employees whenever needed.
- Perform any extended duties as assigned by a manager.
- Protect Reata Restaurant from liability under Bram Shop legislation by practicing responsible alcohol service measures at all times.
- Understand and enforce local Alcohol and Beverage Commission laws and regulations.
- Report to work as scheduled, on time, well-groomed and dress in proper work attire.
Qualifications:
- Must have an optimistic and assertive attitude.
- Thrives in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry 35lbs as needed.
- Continuous use of hand and arms.
- Continuous standing, walking, climbing, reaching and twisting.
