HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Primary role to perform machine set-up and operate PCBA auto mated router equipment. (Getech – GAR/GARMAX/GSR)
- Report defective material or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Perform required preventative maintenance.
- Work with engineering to help support tooling modifications and design.
- Be part of the SMT team helping to support on time delivery of PCBAs to internal customers through the board routing process.
- Cross training within the SMT area clean room on the 3 Panasonic SMT lines.
- As part of cross training on SMT responsibilities will include:
- Perform Machine set-up and operate (Panasonic) SMT (Surface Mount Technology) equipment.
- Adhere to IPC-A-610H, Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies.
- Operate SMT Machine during product run.
- Change component reels as needed. Report defective material or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Good attendance required.
- Must promote safety in their work area(s).
- Use IATF 16949 and ISO14001 disciplines; ensures product conforms to established production specifications.
- Communicates opportunities observed to improve safety, quality, or production processes which can reduce injuries, scrap or production losses.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards in all work areas.
- Work safely, adhering to the facility’s quality, environmental, health and safety policies and procedures and continually monitoring the work environment to identify and communicate to team leader/supervisor/ manager current or potential concerns.
- All other assignments deemed necessary while under the direction of the Team Leader, Area Operations Supervisor, Process Manager, or the Plant Manager.
YOUR KEY ATTRIBUTES
- You have a High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
- Previous SMT experience is a plus.
- You’re comfortable with working overtime as needed, including weekends when necessary.
- You’re able to read and comprehend written and oral instructions.
- You have basic math skills.
- You are accountable and demonstrate integrity by delivering what is promised.
- You are stoked by challenges, pushing to create something new – never settling simply for “the way it’s always been done.”
- You find new and effective ways to streamline processes for maximum efficiency without cutting corners on safety and quality.
- You are a self-driven team player with a can-do attitude ready to step up and help others without being asked.

- You have excellent dexterity with high attention to detail to efficiently make the product within customer specs the first time.
- You love a fast-paced air-conditioned work environment!
- You are capable of performing the essential functions of the job which at times may include for example lifting up to 30 lbs. and standing for long periods of time.
