Position Overview:
As an ACI Field Technician or a motivated entry-level candidate, you will play a pivotal role in our construction materials testing division. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct various tests and inspections on construction materials, with a specific focus on concrete. Your meticulous work will ensure that construction materials meet the highest standards and comply with industry specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform Materials Testing: Conduct field and laboratory testing of construction materials, with a primary emphasis on concrete, strictly following ASTM and ACI standards.
Record Keeping: Create and maintain precise records of test results and detailed observations.
Concrete Sampling: Execute concrete sampling and testing tasks at construction sites, paying close attention to detail.
Data Analysis: Collaborate closely with senior technicians and engineers to assist in data analysis and the production of comprehensive reports.
Equipment Maintenance: Regularly calibrate and maintain testing equipment and instruments to ensure accuracy.
Safety Adherence: Uphold strict adherence to safety procedures and protocols to guarantee a safe working environment.
Quality Control: Work collaboratively with project teams to ensure rigorous quality control and strict adherence to project specifications.
Professional Development: Demonstrate a commitment to professional development and actively seek out opportunities for training and skill enhancement.
Qualifications:
ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician - Grade I certification or a higher-grade certification.
Prior experience in construction materials testing is highly desirable.
Profound knowledge of ASTM and ACI standards.
Possession of a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
A high school diploma or equivalent educational background is preferred.
Willingness and ability to successfully pass pre-employment screening, including a background check, MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) check, and drug test.
