$79,840.00 - $119,760.00 / year
Summary
Responsible for optimizing productivity in a safe and efficient manner by coordinating the efforts of operations work groups, production planning, maintenance and outside contractors
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Maintain compliance with all environmental and Process Safety Management regulations, codes, licenses and reporting requirements.
- Coordinates and assists technical staff in developing, analyzing or surveying situations requiring attention
- Addresses operations problems with appropriate staff and recommends proper course of action to resolve situation to improve safety, quantity, quality, cost or environmental conditions
- Confers with production, maintenance, engineering staff and technology to determine progress of work and to provide information on changes in processing methods received from engineering department
- Issues instructions for shutdown and maintenance equipment preparation
- Maintains production data log book and analyzes and addresses current issues regarding impurities and insures the proper collection of data for monthly statistics and inventory report
- Communicates daily activities and observations in a timely and effective manner in order to obtain production and safety goals
- Develops Standard Operating Procedures and training criteria for new and modified equipment to insure safe and efficient operation

- Actively participates in RBS activities
Qualifications
Incumbents must have demonstrated knowledge and abilities in these areas. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience
- Requires a minimum of a High School Diploma and three (3) to five (5) years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least two (2) years working experience as a Fluid Bed Operator or Fluid Bed Shift Superintendent
Computer Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and SAP or similar program
Other Skills and Abilities
- Understanding of production planning methodologies, production processes and inter-relationships between operating units
- Ability to interpret conditions of equipment and inventory to predict processing capability
- Able to qualify for signing Hot Work Permits (HWP)
- Track, monitor and report actual versus planned results
- Ability to indirectly influence a wide variety of people (maintenance, engineering, production planning, operations and technology)
- Ability to develop, understand and coordinate plans with multiple departments and multiple priorities and handle conflicts and disagreements constructively
