What are the responsibilities and job description for the Capacity & TPM Planner position at Reckitt?
The Capacity/TPM Planner will be reporting to the Master Capacity Planner. This individual will be responsible for coordinating re-label operations at a third-party manufacturer, working with internal and external parties to resolve supply issues, complete capacity planning for assigned lines, and support Master Capacity Planner with managing projects.
- Drives effective execution of plan, source, make, and deliver strategies with assigned re-label activities and third-party manufacturers. Coordinates third party manufacturer needs with internal plant teams and material suppliers. Completes needed SAP and business transactions in support of third party manufacturing.
- Participates on cross-functional teams to achieve objectives and to build strong work relationships with key customers, both internal and external. Drives product launch and product change initiatives as liaison between internal teams and third party manufacturers.
- Efficiently delivers on commitments and produces high quality product while meeting all regulatory requirements.
- Utilizes effective interpersonal skills to maintain relationships with external manufacturing network in order to understand the options and capabilities associated with third-party manufacturing.
- Ensures Supply Agreement compliance between RB and third-party manufacturers
- Maintains key performance indicators for assigned third-party manufacturers to ensure quality, service, and cost effectiveness. Exhibits personal accountability for achieving performance targets.
- Supports the Master Capacity Planner in strategic and budget planning process by coordinating the long-term sales demand with the projected plant(s) capacity in both equipment and staffing. Uses capacity models to project internal capacity and participates in developing strategies to address projected misalignment. Support capacity review meetings with NA stakeholders.
- Develops and prepares “what if” business scenarios as required when supply issues or capacity improvement projects arise. Maintains broad working knowledge of demand planning inputs and influences and adapts them as needed to align with supply planning.
- Readily adapts to a continuously changing work environment by balancing a wide variety of demands in a responsive and professional manner.
- Demonstrates strong computer/analytical skills and strong prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Experience and Knowledge Desired
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
- Experience in the process and packaging industry, preferably within a FDA regulated environment.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in supply chain functions preferred.
- Effective leadership, organizing, negotiating, and problem solving skills.
- Strong sense of integrity, accountability, and proven internal and external relationship management skills.
- Effective understanding of operations, quality systems, project management, and financial processes and associated performance measurement systems.
- Experience with material management systems SAP/APO (ECC/SCM) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, and Project).
- Working knowledge of quality assurance and GMP practices.
- Ability to travel.
