Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly/weekly production, inventory deployment and capacity plans developing and maintaining master production schedule to ensure proper flow of material across the product supply chain for assigned Household Products
Reviews daily sales activity for assigned brands working closely with Logistics Centers (LCs), co-packers, distribution planning and sales forecasting and adjusts short term production schedules to minimize risk of service issues.
Supports long term strategic planning for production processes, capacity management and resource allocation.
Handles complex and critical decision making tasks, such as managing MoQs, and optimizing production schedules to meet demand fluctuations.
Collaborates with various departments including logistics, connected planning, and NPD to ensure the seamless flow of materials and products throughout the supply chain.
Supports continuous process improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency, reduce costs and enhance overall productivity.
Leads projects aimed at streamlining operations and implementing best practices to improve inventory visibility.
Takes on a mentoring role for less experience teammates, proves guidance support and training to help them develop their skills and grow within the organization.
Conducts more in depth data analysis and generates comprehensive reports for management, providing insights into trends and areas for improvement.
Skills:
BS degree in supply chain management or other business/sciences related discipline
8-10 years of actual hands on MRP planning, scheduling implementation or related system knowledge and having a good understanding of production operations.
Strong knowledge of best practices to efficiently control net working capital
Strong interpersonal communication and team based skills are essential
Effective project management skills
Demonstrate hands-on experience in implementing and/or using ERP and related computer systems and technologies in areas of demand planning, MPS, RCCP, MRP, etc.
Strives for Continuous Learning to Keep Skills up-to-date, i.e. APICS certification
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, JDE, LMS
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibility.
