- Perform a variety of administrative, clerical and project-oriented duties
- Provides effective support to management through the development of organizational and/or administrative systems for efficient capital management
- Effectively manages budget tracking tools, financial reporting software and organizational communication
- Assists in compiling the contributions of team members into project tracking plans
- Compiles summary reports for senior management
- Responsible for assisting with setup and maintenance of Capital Tracking Database and training of project managers
- Demonstrates excellent analytical problem solving and interpersonal skills in dealing with difficult issues and able to apply basic negotiation principles
- Assist with strategic capital planning and annual budget development. Interface with Finance to develop budget and projection reports and participate in reviews.
- Establishes strong business relationships with Finance and Procurement groups
- Subject matter expert for capital procurement process related to bidding and PO entry. This includes PO entry and invoice approvals as well as reconciling invoicing and resolving GR/IR purchase order issues.
- Serve as point of contact for POs and assists in ensuring highest level of compliance with the Reckitt Corporate Purchasing Policy
- Serve as point of contact for Capital tax related questions (appropriate coding and assistance with problems and how to resolve)
- Builds relationships with project managers to drive projection compliance through problem resolution and teaching Ebuy and SAP reporting processes
- SAP/Ebuy Super User
- Participate in SAP/Ebuy system testing
- Subject Matter Expert for SAP/Ebuy Capital processes, provisioning of database, SAP and Ebuy
- Possess comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the development and management of expense and capital budgets. Knowledge resource for assignment of capital vs. expense.
- Monitors Construction-in-Progress (CIP) factory reviews to ensure all factories meet Capital Finance requirements through common processes
- Provides meaningful analysis and recommendations for fixed asset transactions and disposal. Assists management in fixed asset removal projections.
- Provides technical review, coaching and teaching to strengthen organization related to Capital Appropriation Requests (CAR), Online Approval System (OAS) and associated project documentation. Routes documents and through OAS, also tracks and maintains metrics and archives documents
- Submits CAR requests for processing and approves transactions for entry into SAP
- Maintains all project data as it pertains to Capex and completes monthly upload of data into Anaplan
- Must track forecasts, accruals project status, budgets, spend and project closures
- Assists with developing, maintaining, and enforcing compliance with all Finance requirements, proactively identifying changes in the business and developing compliant, documented processes, monitoring compliance to all relevant policies through proactive audit due diligence. Provide Audit Support by providing documentation as requested by Auditors.
Requirements:
- Experience with Project Tracking Database setup and manipulation
- Understanding of capital lifecycle and finance planning schedules
- Demonstrated track record of successfully supporting large scale capital projects
- Deep understanding of information systems like SAP, PTS, Anaplan, and others
