ROLE
In this role you will be participating in the training effort to produce effective learning solutions that result in end-user adoption, expected to perform detailed training analysis, collaborate on designing curriculum and developing courses with the Learning and Development team, and execute an implementation plan. In addition, you will work with the operating companies to adhere to best practices and common processes.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF I.T. Content Manager
- Deliver effective, engaging, and holistic l programs across the various applications and integrations in the customer service, dispatch, and operations system portfolio.
- Leverage rapid, agile development techniques and processes to deliver content for a constantly changing environment.
- Partner with business Subject Matter Experts, Program Stakeholders and Learning and Development to design learning solutions, curriculum, and content.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and delegate work to learning team members to drive projects to completion.
- Deliver curriculum in a variety of formats–virtual, in person, independent learning; ensure quality of materials and consistency in language, visuals and graphics, style, and format.
- In Partnership with the Training & Development Manager conduct analysis on training success and process adherence; share ideas and findings.
- Participate in efforts to develop and maintain best practices; Partner with operational teams to leverage best practices and company standard processes.
- Troubleshoot and improve new processes.
- Conduct ongoing analysis of adherence to processes and process effectiveness.
- Document and communicate the results of your efforts.
- Adhere to timelines for requested deliverables; drive projects to completion independently and monitor team deliverables to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Manage delivery, quality, and communication for all assigned program deliverables.
- Provide transparency to all levels of the organization including executive management.
- Build and maintain strong working relationship with CRM vendor.
- Maintain documentation related to procedures, status, and changes of CRM training efforts.
- Develop innovative approaches and alternative solutions to solve problems.
- Develop strategies to effectively manage current and future challenges and opportunities; develop recommendations and actionable plans.
QUALIFICATIONS
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to qualify is:
- High School Diploma and or GED equivalent
- Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design or an equivalent degree preferred
- 5 years of instructional design experience implementing web-based, instructor-led and blended learning solutions
- 5 years of experience in adult learning delivery, education curriculum development or similar function
- Demonstrated success using agile, ADDIE, and/or SAM learning development methodology
- Excellent communication, writing, creative and organizational skills
- Demonstrated success meeting deadlines and adapting to changing priorities
- Ability to produce work independently and influence development decisions with business stakeholders
- Experience using data to inform and set priorities and identify challenges/opportunities
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Define issues and focus on achieving workable solutions; generate innovative ideas to develop or improve existing processes
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing; listen to and understand various viewpoints; share relevant information timely; provide constructive feedback; maintain professionalism.
- Present ideas effectively to individuals or groups and deliver presentations suited to the characteristics and needs of the audience.
- Effectively and productively engage with others and establish trust, credibility, and confidence.
