Position Summary:
The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for enhancing the profitability of the company as part of an Engineering team supporting all technical aspects of our customer’s products and related repair processes. The Engineering Supervisor will create value by applying fundamental Engineering discipline to the understanding of our customer’s product(s) and innovating original and effective process solutions for diagnostics and repair. The Engineering Supervisor will also have responsibilities in leading, mentoring and developing a team of engineers who plan and design methods to improve or enhance our existing programs.

Responsibilities/Duties
- Assists in analyzing and reviewing schedules, production requirements and headcount to determine the most cost effective and efficient methods of obtaining necessary resources.
- Develops and recommends revisions or enhancements to schedules, human and monetary resource allocations, and production requirements.
- Projects technical vision and architects’ processes and product repair systems.
- Plans and executes complete projects, providing white papers and justification for funding.
- Collaborates with higher and lower-level Engineers toward accomplishing corporate goals.
- Provides regular communication to upper-level management.
- Supports large-account customer relationships with intimate awareness of customer technical needs, and comprehensive involvement with the customer and Teleplan account teams.
- Provides guidance and training for junior level engineers.
- Is recognized and relied upon as an authority in own area within the organization, demonstrating unique depth-breadth of knowledge and skills.
- Shares expertise with colleagues and others as a lead individual contributor and team member.
- Possess a BS, MS, or PhD degree in Engineering, CS, Physics, or Mathematics, or meet the alternative prerequisites as stated for Associate Engineer.
- Nine years as a degreed Engineer, or equivalent.
- Four years at the Teleplan level of Senior Engineer (Level 3) or at another company in an equivalently demanding role.
