Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in preconstruction planning, including materials, safety, and labor, and conduct site visits as needed.
- Ensure smooth project start-up, create and manage project schedules, and guide your team effectively.
- Oversee safety and design specifications, coordinate subcontractor work, and manage project progress.
- Provide leadership, training, and support to field staff, and interact with owners, designers, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct safety meetings and manage the closeout process.
Physical Requirements:
- Stand, walk, and climb ladders for extended periods.
- Work in confined spaces, diverse weather conditions, and perform tasks at heights.
- Work beyond standard hours as needed and maintain excellent vision and hearing.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal skills to build and maintain relationships.
- Procore experience highly regarded along with strong computer skills (MS Excel, MS Project, Word, Outlook).
- At least 5 years in the construction industry with a solid understanding of building systems and civil work. Experience in reconstruction is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in construction science/construction management is preferred.
