Prominent and long-established Hip Hop Record Label seeks part-time Merchandise Manager

This part-time position has the potential to lead to full-time employment for the right candidate.

Major Job Roles and Responsibilities:

• Planning and development of an online wholesale ordering platform as well as on other Company websites as requested by Company including, but not limited to any websites.

• Overall maintenance of the Ruff Ryders’ website: www.ruffryders.com as well as

on other Company websites as requested by Company, only as it relates to
members and regular consumers and delivery of wholesale orders.

• Wholesale Customer service and order processing management through the online.

• Wholesale Production, budgeting and sourcing.

• Production advisement and consulting including drafting quotes, price points and mark-up, assessment, and invoicing for products; as it pertains to wholesale

orders.

• Wholesale Production vendor management and ongoing vendor relations.

• Superior production development and brand management.

• Wholesale Production scheduling, planning, shipping and logistics.

• Engaging in vendor relations, including but not limited to, management of wholesale accounts payable and receivable.

• Artwork production

• Graphic changes or edits

• Additional launches, relaunches, or promotional sales campaigns pertaining to

wholesale ordering, or changes to wholesale order sites.

• Artist wardrobe consulting, pricing, styling and production.

• In-house promotional apparel, products, and/or launches for Artist promotional

campaigning.

• General eCommerce or retail production, planning, or sale, etc.

• Tour merchandise production, tour management and coverage, and/or on-site

vending, or any provisions for or relating to tour or event.

Merchandise.Qualifications/Requirements:

- Experience in or adept with knowledge on Shipping and Receiving: pulling items, packing boxes, timing shipments, tracking shipments, and properly recording and updating shipment progress and information via internal systems. The elected candidate will be trained to use our specific internal system and processes.

- Must have an intermediate understanding of Microsoft Excel.

- Must be a *Quick* learner, capable of multitasking in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.

- Must be highly responsible, organized, self motivated, and have a proactive approach to work.

- Must be able to work autonomously and also be comfortable interacting with employees at all levels of the organization and external company contacts.

- Must possess the ability to solve problems in a resourceful manner as expected for the role.

- Must be very focused on details and accuracy.

- Must encompass the mindset that deadlines are not optional.

Other Requirements:

• Must be able to occasionally lift boxes up to 40lbs.

Preferred, but not required:

• Min 1 year Experience in merchandise production and development or sales and distribution

or

• Min 1 year Experience in Shipping & Receiving, or an order fulfillment role.

or

• Min 1 year Experience in Inventory management: counting, tracking, allocating, etc.

• A Candidate who is a Recent Graduate or Currently Enrolled in a 4 year degree program

• A Candidate who lives within close proximity to the Downtown Yonkers area 10701.

• A candidate with a clean drivers license and access to a car, as some duties may require travel between our Label’s Office and our Label’s Warehouse. (Close proximity, but not walking distance)
