Senior Procurement Specialist
Recorded Future seeks a highly motivated Senior Procurement Specialist to assist the organization in delivering successful contract negotiations and supporting the entire source-to-pay lifecycle for all company purchases..
Reporting to the Senior Director of Procurement, Meetings & Events and Global Travel, along with working closely with the Sr. Procurement Manager you will be a key member of the team, contributing to and providing support across all aspects of contract negotiations and assisting in the execution of agreements to fulfill the business requirements of each department’s key stakeholder.
What you’ll do as a Senior Procurement Specialist:
Provide analytical support to drive decision making
Continue to assist in the development of comprehensive processes for sourcing and contract negotiations
Document and share best practice methods, processes, policies, and ideas across the business functions; drive innovative thinking and process development throughout the organization
Develop RFP’s and RFI’s along with evaluation criteria, industry benchmarking, and negotiation strategy
Facilitate and manage a high volume of tasks within a demanding and rapidly changing environment.
Assist in implementing technology to service the organization efficiently
Manage the companies contract management platform
Work routinely with risk partners (Legal, Information Security, etc.) in negotiating deals and in managing outsourcing risk
What you'll bring as a Senior Procurement Specialist:
Bachelor’s Degree Preferred or equivalent education or related training
5 years’ procurement and equivalent project management experience
Strong project management, prioritization, and planning skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Proven track record of contract negotiations and documented savings
Demonstrated success producing high-quality deliverables on time and within budget
Ability to adapt to a fast pace and ever-changing environment. Ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure, delivering on last minute requests and remain detailed oriented
Ability to influence and partner with business colleagues throughout the organization
Quantitative and analytical skills; critical thinking for cross-functional collaboration
Strong communication and project management skills
Experience with Contract Management Systems, preferably Ironclad
Advanced skills in Excel & Powerpoint
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with analyzing reports and data (Excel Spreadsheets, Pivot Tables, Graphs)
Knowledge of Netsuite, Domo, G2 Track, Google Suite
