Security Guard

Position Overview:

RecruitGo is looking for a Security Guard to join our client’s team in Jakarta, Indonesia. Our client operates in a high-security environment, requiring vigilant and dependable individuals to ensure the safety and security of the premises and personnel.

We are seeking a candidate who is observant, disciplined, adaptable, and dedicated to maintaining a secure and safe environment. You should possess strong attention to detail, be a self-starter, and have excellent communication skills in both written and verbal Bahasa Indonesia and English.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials and logging visitors as required
• Patrol assigned areas to ensure safety, security, and proper functioning of equipment
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, conducting thorough investigations and completing reports
• Enforce policies and procedures regarding facility security, ensuring compliance at all times
• Maintain a visible presence to deter potential security breaches and ensure quick response to any incidents
• Operate security equipment, including surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and radios
• Communicate effectively with team members, reporting any security concerns or unusual activities
• Assist with emergency procedures, including evacuations, medical emergencies, and fire alarms
• Inspect and maintain security equipment regularly, reporting any issues for repair or replacement
• Work collaboratively with the security team and report to the security supervisor or manager
  
  

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional security or law enforcement training is a plus
• Proven experience as a security guard or in a similar security role
• Basic knowledge of security operations, emergency response, and crowd control
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English
• Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions under pressure
• Familiarity with security equipment such as CCTV systems, alarms, and two-way radios
• Physically fit and able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot potential security risks
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for all personnel
