As one of the fastest-growing warehousing and logistics companies in North America, we’re looking for an experienced HUMAN RESOURCES ANALYST.
As the Human Resources Analyst, the primary focus of this position is in support and maintenance of data within the UKG Ultimate Software platform for a two shift operations (days/nights) by performing a variety of technical, administrative and analytical human resources activities. The HR Analyst will be a key and integral member of the HR team and will be in a highly visible position that will have a significant impact on the performance and profitability of the business. This role will support ~ 600 union hourly production team members and salaried/ hourly management/supervisory team members encompassing a diverse range of disciplines from operations, engineering, materials, maintenance and quality. This role requires expertise in identifying and assisting in solving HR related issues, ensuring these adhere to the organizations’ policies and objectives, analyzing and evaluating data and reports, feeding back the findings to the HR Manager, and advising on changes and improvements. We are looking for an HR professional who has great interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, strong data analytics knowledge and experience and a team player.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide support for data integrity within the HRIS applications, research and resolving data issues
- Create scheduled reports daily, weekly and monthly
- Create Excel spreadsheets, performs pivot tables, vlookups, charts and graphs of data
- Create and deliver ad-hoc reporting when needed
- Serve as the technical point of contact ensuring data integrity
- Work cross functionally within the HR team as an integral key team member, helping out wherever necessary even if not within your scope of responsibility
- Performing audits to ensure process is followed and data is correct
- Partners with HR Manager to ensure site and workforce are deployed to execute strategic priorities and headcount requirements.
- Work with the HR Team to identify and resolve HR related issues
- Run reports through HRIS system and compare to budgetary constraints and identify areas of improvement.
- Assist with HR Investigations and follow up with involved parties.
- Maintains a positive work environment and high employee engagement.
- Leads and fosters diversity in the workplace.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

- Minimum of five (5) years of generalist/administrative/analyst experience in human resources.
- A minimum of one year experience in manufacturing and/or supply chain/third-party logistics preferred.
- Post Secondary Degree in Business Administration or a related HR field highly preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred.
- Versatility, flexibility, and ability to work either day shift 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or night shift 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. as needs arise. Also flexibility to work weekend shifts when necessary.
- Data Analytics knowledge and experience.
- Experience with UltiPro, Ultimate Software and/or UKG Pro human resources systems is highly desirable.
- Effective communication skills both written and oral.

- Ability to work independently (with minimal oversight) and effectively in a fast-paced and sometimes unpredictable environment.

- Start-up experience is highly desirable, leading teams, and thorough knowledge of State and Federal laws
- Understand and administer company policies in accordance to Federal, State and Local guidelines.
- Enforce company policies/ procedures and corresponding work instructions.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, etc…)
