We are seeking a talented and motivated Cryptography Security Researcher to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct advanced research in cryptographic algorithms, protocols, and systems.
- Analyze and evaluate the security of existing cryptographic solutions and identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Develop and prototype novel cryptographic techniques and solutions to address current and future security challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cryptographic solutions into products and services.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in cryptographic research, emerging threats, and security trends.
- Publish research findings in reputable journals and present at industry conferences.
- Provide expertise and guidance on cryptographic best practices to internal teams and external clients.
- Participate in code reviews and security assessments to ensure the robustness of cryptographic implementations.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on cryptography.
- Strong background in cryptographic theory and practice, including symmetric and asymmetric cryptography, cryptographic protocols, and cryptographic primitives.
- Experience with formal methods for cryptographic analysis and verification.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C , Java, or similar.
- Familiarity with cryptographic libraries and tools (e.g., OpenSSL, libcrypto, Bouncy Castle).
- Knowledge of blockchain technologies and their cryptographic underpinnings is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with post-quantum cryptography and related research.
- Knowledge of secure multi-party computation, homomorphic encryption, and zero-knowledge proofs.
- Prior experience in contributing to open-source cryptographic projects.
- Understanding of hardware-based security mechanisms (e.g., TPMs, HSMs).
