Job Title: Software Support Specialist (SQL Knowledge, Retail Experience)
Job Summary: They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Specialist with a strong understanding of SQL and retail industry processes to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional technical support to our team members by resolving issues with our software systems and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
This is a full-time, in-office position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for technical issues related to our software systems and retail industry processes.
- Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and concerns through phone, email, chat, or remote desktop support.
- Analyze and troubleshoot reported software issues, determine root cause, and provide solutions or escalate issues to the development team as necessary.
- Collaborate with software vendors to resolve more complex issues.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with users and colleagues to ensure prompt and accurate issue resolution.
- Ensure that all support interactions are logged and tracked within our ticketing system.
- Actively participate in knowledge-sharing activities, such as training and documentation, to ensure continuous improvement of the support team’s capabilities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance the customer support experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 2 years of experience in software support, preferably in a retail environment.
- Strong SQL skills with experience in SQL scripting, stored procedures, and data analysis.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience with customer service, including handling customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
