The primary responsibilities of the General Manager are:
Business Development: The General Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and networking with key industry stakeholders to increase revenue and grow the company's customer base.
Daily Operations & Team Management: Recruit and lead high-performing teams and ensure all safety guidelines are followed. Provide leadership and daily support to direct and indirect reports within the team including training and coaching installers. Manage inventory, maintain equipment, and ensure local, county, state or federal code requirements are being met.
Customer Satisfaction: Drive a strong Customer First environment and culture and build relationships with customers to ensure their needs are met. Promptly address customer issues and complaints, and develop solutions to resolve timely and effectively. Communicate with appropriate personnel regarding concerns, and status of resolving such issues.
Sound Financial Decision Making: As a part of the role, the General Manager will also be responsible for creating and managing the budget, analyzing the financial performance of the company, and setting key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success. The General Manager will monitor performance against these KPIs and take corrective action where necessary to ensure the team is meeting their targets and contributing to the overall success of the company.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a lead, supervisory or management role in the insulation or construction fields
- Subcontracting Manager Experience
- Previous business operations & development experience
- Cross functional Collaboration
- Valid state driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Entrepreneurial spirit, be on the ground floor of building a new business
- Autonomy/Independent decision making skills
- Highly Personable and engaging with customers
- Deep and broad network within the construction industry
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations for Construction Projects
Compensation & Benefits:
· Starting Compensation: $80,000
· Additional Incentive Opportunities

Physical Requirements:
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
o Stand; walk; sit; twist; use hands to handle; reach with hands and arms; push; pull; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear.
o Use vision abilities including: close, distance, peripheral, depth, and color.
o Work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions/circumstances such as with ladders, scaffolding, ducts, crawl spaces, attics, above ceilings, etc.
o Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 50 lbs.
o Must be able to work a full-time, flexible schedule
o Must be able to drive a motor vehicle (day and evenings) for extended time periods
