Red Carpet Carwash is looking for a motivated Salesman/Manager that is willing to help promote the business by way of providing a quality car wash to our customers and leading by example, while being a positive role model in our community.
Red Carpet car wash has exponential growth potential and has doubled in size within the past few years with the acquisition of Dad’s Carwash.
Summary of Position:
We are looking for a friendly salesperson to assist customers. This salesperson is responsible for greeting customers, helping them find which wash best meets their needs, and ringing up purchases. To be successful as a salesperson you must have excellent communication skills. A great salesperson meets sales objectives while remaining polite and helpful to customers.
A Salesman/Manager shares in the responsibilities with the management team on all aspects of the car wash’s facility and its operations. Assist in increasing and promoting Club Plans, Extra services, and Fleet Accounts. The Salesman/Manager is responsible to helping create a fair and safe work environment for all employees, creating a Perfectly Clean Car, Delivering on Great Customer Service, and Cleanest, Most Attractive Carwash in the community.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Managing a team up to 5.
- Be 100% competent to perform any and all tasks related to managing a successful car wash.
- Assist in training and developing employees.
- Assists in overseeing the productivity, breaks, and daily scheduling of all employees.
- Must have excellent organization, communication, and customer service skills.
- Understands how all equipment and computers should properly function.
- Assist in attracting, recruiting, developing and employees at every position.
- Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on all equipment.
- Able to personally enroll, train, and motivate team to enroll ever increasing numbers of club members.
- Deals directly with any and all customer concerns, questions, and complaints.
- Continuously seeking ways to efficiently improve the business.
- Ensure that safety and security are emphasized, practiced, and periodically reviewed, and that employees are trained in appropriate responses.
- Take disciplinary action when necessary.
- Do the right thing, at the right time, all the time…with fellow teammates and customers.
Requirements:
- Willingness to lead, take charge, and give direction.
- Lead a team up to 5 people.
- Excellent communication skills and writing skills.
- Is willing to work a minimum of 40 hours per week including weekends and holidays.
- Motivation to work through busy shifts.
- Must be mechanically inclined to work on equipment.
- Ability to be on your feet for long hours at a time.
- Ability to lift a moderate amount of weight.
- Courteous and professional demeanor.
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
- A competitive drive to be the best in the company.
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency.
- Conducting all interactions with customers and fellow employees ethically.
- Must be able to work opening and closing shifts.
