Red Crab Juicy Seafood is looking for high energy, great people to join our Red Crab Team! Professionalism, independence, positive attitude, and great work ethic will take you far!!

We are looking for competent and reliable Restaurant Hosts who can be a team player in this growing Cajun seafood segment and be the first point of contact for our guests. A positive attitude is a MUST. A strong, professional phone presence is necessary.

Host/Hostess responsibilities include greeting guests, providing accurate wait times and escorting customers to the dining and bar areas. For this role, you should have solid organizational and people skills to make sure our guests have a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive till their departure. You should also be available to work in shifts.

Ultimately, you’ll ensure we provide excellent customer service and a pleasant dining experience to our guests.

Responsibilities

• Ability to work independently and provide stellar service with a great, professional attitude is an ABSOLUTE MUST!
• Welcome and bid farewell to guests entering and exiting the venue
• Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
• Manage reservations
• Escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas
• Provide menus and announce Waiter/Waitress’s name
• Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options
• Maintain a clean reception area
• Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly)
• Manage To-Go orders including DoorDash and GrubHub
• Ensure Bathroom Necessities are stocked
• Answer incoming calls and address customers’ queries
• Respectful and helpful to all guests and staff
• Assist wait staff as needed
• All other tasks as directed by manager

Red Crab Standard:

• Professional and courteous when speaking/telephone and to guests
• Maintains composure under pressure.
• Reliable and communicates with management.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills and basic math skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 30 lbs. as needed.
• Continuous bending, reaching, twisting and use of hands and arms.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 38 per week
