Job Role Summary
The primary role of the Engagement Specialist is to develop and design strategic initiatives to support employee retention. The Engagement Specialist will work to build trusted relationships across the organization to ensure that employees are supported in their roles and have access to tools and resources that promote growth, development, and success. In collaboration with the Employee Relations Specialist, department leadership and people managers, the Engagement Specialist will coordinate training programs, create employee development plans, and identify succession planning and growth opportunities.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Leadership/Development, Psychology, or related field preferred
- Previous program design or training experience is preferred

Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite
- Thorough understanding of training planning practices and techniques
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with employees, managers, and vendors
- Excellent leadership skills
- Must be able to organize and prioritize
Working Environment
- Standard office environment.
- Will require some travel to other HHC owned facilities and significant employee-facing time.
